Default Ideas on strength of stock driveshaft ls1

Just wondering what kind of power a stock aluminum ls1 driveshaft can handle. I'm spraying 150 with slicks on a m6. Ive also heard of people using
the steel driveshafts off lt1 or ls1s. Any good?

The steel one's are good for that kind of power, but I don't think I would trust a stock aluminum with 450 rwhp spraying off the line. It would probably be ok if you were spraying after the 1-2 shift though.

No personal experience, but I replaced mine just in case.

Yes they are all hollow. I recommend the PST 3.5" aluminum driveshaft, rated at 1200hp. Comes with a 1350 yoke and 1350 U joints, all ready to bolt in for $399.99. I haven't seen one break yet. Bob
