Default Rear End Dying???

I recently had my car in the shop and they told me that my rear end might be going out (w/o them openeing it) becasue it was whining. It's a stock 10bolt with an SLP Zexel limited slip unit with 3.42s. The rebuild only has about 30K miles on it. Now, when I take off hard, there is a loud thumping/vibration from the middle of the car. If I take of slow it doesn't happen, only on hard acceleration. Could that be coming from the rearend? I can't figure it out. Any ideas?

Check the transmission mount, as with the factory torque arm being mounted to the tranny, the tranny mount is prone to breaking. It can sometimes be hard to see if the mount is broken, you have to use a prybar and see if it is still intact. Bob
