Default Can I reuse a solid pinion spacer?

I'm seriously thinking of going to 4:10's soon.

In 2002 I rebuilt the rear with new bearings, a T2R, solid pinion spacer and TA girdle with preload bolts.

My question is can I reuse the spacer? I plan on new bearings again and a new gasket.

Thanks.

How's that T2R holding up to the abuse with H/C? So far mine's been fine. I see you went Moser axles; good call with 4:10's? Do you mind telling me where you got them? Thanks, we have very similiar mods.

I'm still breaking in the gears so haven't really laid into it yet. I bought the axles from the For Sale section. They were new but cheap. If anything is going to break, it's going to be the puny ring and pinion. This will be the only 10 bolt build up I will do. If and when this breaks, I'll be going with a 12 bolt. I've been watching your threads and went with the T2R based on your opinions and others.

Well knock on wood the 3:42's have held up to a ton of abuse. With the disclaimer I've never ran a seriously sticky tire. I'm with you, I may try the 4:10's but if they blow up I'll be going either 12-bolt or the new Dana S60 from Strange ( 9.735 ring gear, but the unit weighs 225lbs. ). I believe you'll LOVE the T2R, but be aware it changes the characteristics of the car, in a good way. All I'm saying is it will drive differently. Keep me posted!
