Default Look at my 94 Camaro with 84 rear end

The 3rd gen is about 2 inches shorter on each side and bolts wright in place.
Here are some pics. The bad part is you don`t have the ABS system in the back and you have brake drums. What do you think, do you like it.

I have got some stock beemer rims on it right now until I get some convo pro 15x10
now they are 16*7 with about 5,5 Backspacing and as far as I know 47mm offset there is about a 1/2-3/4 inch space between the tire and the stock lca. Also I minitubbed the rear. tire size is 205/55/16 wright know planning to go to a 315/60/15. here are the pics

1LE disc's can always go on the rear. Oh OK, you didn't mention minitubs in the first post. I bet you could fit wide deep dished wheels with that setup!

thats my plan I wanna put a convo pro on it with about 5 inch backspace maybe less and sometime change to rear disc brakes. There are some pics of my minitubs over in the appearance forum if somebody wants to look at them.

youre the man, i did the same thing, only with a 9inch, im thinking of using those wheel adapters to make up for it, unless theres a 15x10 out there thatll clear good. 3rd gen wheels clear good, but those pizza cutter tires suck! lol

I have drum brakes on mine too, and no ABS, but they are 14 '' racing drums, lol!

Only problem is my spacing. i wanna do 15 X 10 prostars on the back, but i dunno what kinda offset/back spacing im gonna need. i know the 3rd gen offset works fine, so if i could find out what that was, then i might be good to go!

If I am not mistaking the backspacing should be about 5 inch on a 10 inch rims. When I measured the 3rd gen axle it was 2 inches shorter per side. I think the max is like 5,85 inches. Depends on how much shorter your 9 inch is against your stock 4th gen 10 Bolt.

So if I remember correctly my 88 IROC Z 350 (L98) had rear discs.
So would you have to minitub to fit the rear axle or is it just a matter of back spacing?
If it bolted right in then it would just be a backspace issue correct?
I have 15x10 Pro Stars with 5.5 BS and I think they would fit great.

An 8.5 would be way cheaper and still be pretty strong.

I bolted mine right in,also minitubbed it but you donīt have to minitub it. I just did it bcause I want to go with some 325/50/15. Those rims of yours i my mind should fit perfect. Yeah it is just a backspace issue.

Dammit, I thought you had taken a 94 Camaro and put the rear body of a 84 on it... Cause uh... we did that with a 88 and 92 Ford Taurus, so if you ever see one that has a 90s front end and a 80s rear... well yeah, we did it (the 92 had a back end crash and the 88 had a front end, put the two together and put it up for sale).

No havent heard of it at all, but then again Im very rarely on F-bodyeurope. If it wasnt for the distance Id probally go (seems like theres a lack of car hang outs here), I plan on going to the American Car show in Sweden (forgot the name of the show)...
