Default Wheel well height 28 3/4" WTF???

I have a 9" rear which should make no difference but my wheel well height is 28 3/4 ". My friends SS with a 12 bolt is only 26 1/2 ". The traction on both our cars suck, but my friend says my problem is that the *** is too high. Could that be messing up my weight transfer to the rear???

you dont want it high in the rear its better to have it level. the height difference could be mostly in the diameter of the tire. try a tape measure from the rim lip to the lip on the fender would be more accurate. and if hes got a 12 bolt and yours is a 9" take in to consideration of axle housing diameter and the height the spring percheses between axles housings.

My friend does have the Bilstein suspension option, which as I understand it lowers the rear a little, but 2+ inches!! I am running 26" MT DR's, my friend also 26". Perch positioning and tube diameter are just about the same on the 9" vs 10 bolt. This has me nuts!!! Help.
