Default Tire Height question

When using HPPIII, 3.42 gears is the correct tire height for 275x40 17's 25.75 ?

The unloaded height of that tire will be 25.66".

To measure tire height, I prefer to make a mark on the center bottom sidewall, and one on the pavement straight out from it - then roll the car until the wheel rotates one complete revolution, and re-mark the pavement. Measure the distance in inches between the marks, then divide by Pi to get a better estimate.

I'd pick the HPP3 value which is closest to that estimate.
