Default Best birthday present ever....

Well after waking up at noon today because last night was a long one at the strip club for my 21st birthday. I guess Fedex tried droping off my Strange 60 rearend. after calling them back the guy delievered it on his way back. let me say thats a pretty good surprise considering I thought I still had another week. but by far the coolest birthday present ever....

Are the dana 60's more expensive than a 12 bolt? Theyre a little stronger than a 12 bolt, but not as strong as a 9", right?

Dana 60 is the strongest by far but mybe not to a build FAB 9".

They use 60's on the big tucks that do that "tough truck challange" where to truck tied the rear bumper together and see who can pull the other. Way more stress than drag racing IMO.

well the price of the rear end is cheaper (with the speed inc group buy) than a 12bolt but you have to modify the driveshaft.

the dana 60 is stronger than a 9 inch and you have to modify the driveshaft for the 9 inch also.

so after all I those considerations I found that the s 60 was perfect for me, im glad I waited that extra month of desiding between a 12bolt and 9 inch.

And actually Scott@DLS created his own problems, and the other guy had a vendor order the rear wrong, so I wouldn't consider either of those cases a problem with the design or manufacture of the S60...

seems like that was a 3 channel problem correct? (no reluctor ring on the diff) i have the 4 channel with the reluctor rings on the ends of the axles.
