Question Moser 9" Pinion Angle Questions

I've read the Moser 9" sucks more power than a Moser 12 bolt. Among other reasons, one stated was that the pinion angle is less desireable.

With an adjustable torque arm and adjustable lower control arms, why could you not set the pinion angle perfectly?

Not the pinion angle, the placement of the pinion at the bottom, rather than the center or top I do believe.
