Since you have a six speed, which is harder on a rear, the 12 bolt or a 9 inch is a great way to go.
Moser 12 bolt with Truetrak center, your choice of gear ratio
33 spline axles
ABS or ABS/TCS
Performance aluminum cover
$2,350.00 plus freight collect shipping
Shipping cost will vary between $75.00 to approx $200.00, depending on shipping destination.
Moser 9 inch with Truetrak center, your choice of gear ratio
28 or 31 spline axles
Nodular iron center
No ABS option is available
$2,400 shipped

ABS/TCS option
$2,500 shipped
The Moser 9 inch rear is a stouter rear than the Moser 12 bolt, and I suggest the 9 inch for 550 rwhp +. Bob

since you are mostly stock, i'd say you could get away with the 4.10 gears as long as you dont put on sticky tires and launch hard.
but then again people have blew their rear ends with less than what you have.

I've only got 47K miles with a few mods and my rear is starting to go. I've driven the hell out of it and I really think I may build up the stock 10-bolt since I wont be going with 400+ hp any time soon. I just cant justify spending 2K in something I take to the take maybe 1-2 times a year just my .02 though haha

ya theres no way im puttin 2 grand into it..lol id get a pro charger before i did that....is there any cheap way to beef up the rear end so it wont go?? like something around 200$, all im doing is a 4.10 and a elec. cutout for mods, so i dont need nething for major power...also how can i tell for sure if its going bad?

410s are about the hardest on the 10 bolt for life expectancy. Anything 372 or below will last longer.
Thanks JA

I've got a built 10 bolt with M6( Textralia Clutch), It's got Moser axles, LPW Support Cover with axle brace kit, GM Motive 4.10's, Auburn Posi, Stud Kit, welded axle tubes! Held up fine to 2.0 short time with 315/35/17 Drag Radials! I'll try a harder launch next time! Should hold 1.5 short times! I know eventually I'll need S60 or 12Bolt! But so far so good!
