Default rear end question

i want to put 4.10s in my ls1 m6 and i heard that going with the 9 inch is the most reliable way with these gears.... what do you think? and if you agree who makes a good rear end (but not an arm and a leg)

9 inch Ford rear setup should run around $3000 or so give or take a few hundred

i'm getting mine from Danny Miller's Rear Gears. 9'' housing is 1060.00 for 01 transam and includes everything but the third member, was shortened 2.5'' each side for same price, and has 3 positions to mount the lca's, also guaranteed fitment. The 3rd member starts at 635.00, but i was able to get a slightly used one cheap from a friend. I'm not keeping the traction control though. maybe that's where the extra thousand comes in.

A new Moser 9 inch without ABS/TCS is $2,400.00 shipped. Adding ABS/TCS is $2,500.00 shipped. This is for a housing with the torque arm bracket, and includes the center unit. Bob
