6300-6500 rpms in 3rd gear. All I have is LT Headers, and ORY Pipe, Cut-out, tune, Liid, and 4.10 gear. Regardless you will be running right up to your shift point, so that kind of knocked me out of spraying nitrous unless I wanna run into 4th, but I have heard this makes you run slower. Does anyone know if you shift into 4th gear, if you will run slower?
Hope that answered your question.

Well I have 4.10 gears and according to the gear calculator I could trap 121 in 3rd gear. My rev limit is set at 6500-rpm and my car usually shifts at 6250. It also depends on what size rear tires you will be using. Also if shifted into 4th you might loose a few tenths.

I ran 4.10s in my cammed motor & got my best times. My shift points were 6700 & I trapped over 6. They proved too much for the blown stroker motor.....I was shifting into 4th gear. I put in 3.40s and ran a 10.93, but then ran an 11.0, 11.1 & 11.3. I now run 3.70s and made 8 passes all at 11.0. With my new stall I hope to be running 10s consistently.....
