Default rear end swap

i got a stock rear in my 01 trans am thats a m6. and i want to put the 12 bolt on any one know any sites where they sell the 12 bolt rears with the gears in them. and would i have to change my drive shaft or any thing else?

then reword your question sounds like u need a driveshaft and a 12bolt with gears and that site has them so u need to relook your questoin y u think noone is answering it??

Just about all the Moser dealers sell the 12-bolts ready to go less fluid. That includes choice of gear ratio, choice of posi/ spool, whatever, choice of ABS or TCS, and many other 'options'. Just look around. Its not hard to find Moser dealers.

And to answer your question, No, you don't need a new driveshaft. However its a good idea to upgrade because your stock one won't last long if you put some sticky tires on and get traction with that 12-bolt. But if you do use your stock DS, you'll have to change out the rear u-joint.
