Help: torque arm w/ the 9"
Alright i am installing my 9" and i cant get my spohn adj. torque arm to bolt back into the frame. i have to bolted to the rear end. it needs to come back and to the right in order to fit. anyone else having these problems?
also will my stock drive shaft length fit?

stock ds will work with conversion u-joint..... as fo the torque arm make sure u use the correct holes on the rear mount(not like u can really mess that up, it only fits one way). for the cross memeber i had to put a screw driver in one of the holes and pry it up into postion. then put your bolts in, an extra person is nice even tho i didnt have one
i wound up with a huge gash in my head and a mild concusion due to that torque arm not lining up LOL

there were 2 sets of holes the the T/A i used the first set, where as i used the 2nd set for my stock rear. but i doesnt look like i can use the 2nd set casue it looks like it would hit the body of the car. i tried prying but with no luck.

Oh yes, this can be a big pain. When you disconnect things, sometimes the rear moves out of position from the force of the springs. I jack my rear up by the spring perch on the driver's side to get it closer. Then I find a long bar to run through the torque arm to pry it into place. It helps to get a buddy to help with the prying, pulling and twisting to get it lined up right. Just keep at it and it'll eventually go in.

yea that is what i had to do, everything is in now and looks good. i still had to adjust the T/A all the way back and i cant get my LCA to the bottom hole on my relocation bracket.
