after PUTTING MY REAR TOGETHER,WEIRD CLUNKING NOISE! WELL I HAVE A 9 INCH WITH A STRANGE cENTER SECTION AND I HAVE 3.50 GEARS AND DETROIT LOCKER ..WOULD ANYONE NO WHY MY CAR HAS A CLUNKING NOISE THAT IS REPETATIVE WHEN SLOWING DOWN AND SPEEDING UP??
aLSO i know what kinda noise lockers make and its not that unless i have a chipped spyder gear in the locker.

Check ur lower control arms to see if the nut might have come lose a bit. mine made a clunking noise just as u described. the nut on the rearend mounting bracket was lose.

first check what that guy said, then if that doesn't help, call Scott @ DriveLine Solutions and explain the situation. He told me about something to do with grinding down the axle shaft(@ the splines) by 3/16". Just ask about it, he has much experience with this axle and can probably point you in the right direction.
