I just got my 4:10's put in yesterday, everything seems fine, i noticed when i take right turns, i hear like a grinding howl like sound form the rear, is this normal before they break in comletely????? The mechanic did say he usually sets the gears up pretty tight to start out with... Its not the normal whining sound you usually get from gears, help me out here guys, so ill stop worrying

It's not normal to hear a grinding only during turns unless it's posi chatter.
If it makes noise during a right hand turn it could be loose carrier preload, a right turn would shift the carrier towards the pinion and in extreme cases eliminate all backlash.
