what gear lube do you use on a 2001 10 bolt trans am

I use any dino 80/90 gear oil.

dino=non synthetic.

I called the GM dealer and asked the same question. They said full synthetic and gm additive

Yeah they would like for you to buy their $20 bottle of synthetic I'm sure.

You don't need synthetic and you only need the additive if you have an auburn.
