12 bolt w. spool VS. 9 in. w. spool ?

Default 12 bolt w. spool VS. 9 in. w. spool ?

is there going to be a big difference in strength between the 2 if im running a spool, its a DD, so i really dont want to get rid of the ABS, no do i want to have to worry about a damn diff. going out.......Help me out

If you're worried about ABS then a spool probably isn't for you. I belive you can run the ABS with the spool but I could be wrong on that.

I personally would not recommend a spool for a DD. They are not too bad in the dry, but don't get caught in the rain with one, especially on an off ramp...What is your projected power level? Have you looked into the S60 from Strange? That looks like its a good deal, too...The S60 appears to be the best of both worlds, supposedly stronger than a 9" with its bigger ring/pinion gears, but takes less hp to turn than a 12 or a 9"...Just offering another suggestion..

I didnt even think of the dana 60, ill look into it, but i thought that rear end was actually alot heavier then the 9 in

Why exactly are you worried about a diff going out? Go with a tru-trac or a locker for a DD.
