Default Rear End Girdle???

Rear I got with the car was 2.73's no posi.. I recently got some 3.73 auburn (series 2) new from a parts car I got they just sat never ran.. soaked in rear fluid so they are good... also got a fresh rebuilt Auburn Series 2 carrier... ran me around $300 for all that stuff including gear install kit.. i figured hey series 2 = more meat so tougher and I got a 1LE driveshaft already.. but is the $150 for a rear end girdle really worth it orrrr what??? specs below >>

Some use them some say they are useless. It certainly can't do any harm, that's for sure. I mainly used mine so that changing/adding fluid was a lot easier.

I got mine for a good price, used, and had it installed along with my 4.10s. Nothing's broken - yet - but i figure it might be at least an extra month or two of abuse. You're still throwing glue on a toothpick, but I don't think it can hurt.
