If it's an all-out drag car, run a spool, nothing to rebuild when the clutch packs wear out. =) My car isn't that fast, but I plan to run a posi in mine with the new setup, if that counts!

Spool. As long as you respect the car in the corners and turns it's fine on the street. It does leave a little extra tire on the driveway if you have sharp turns to get in and out.

Posi for me, Just significantly better street manners. Mine is a street car first, race car second. When you start lifting the front end off the ground on every launch you really need to move to a spool.

okay... it's a done deal... went with a better eaton posi with steel clutches and some 800lbs springs... DTS said if i didnt like it or it broke, they'll put a spool in the rear... but i think for now, i'll try this and see if it works... what do ya'll think of that?

I had some carbon fiber clutch packs in the posi beforhand and DTS said thats a little bit of my problem...?

any inputs y'all?

I would go with a spool if you are planning on running into the 10's in the 1/4. Bob
