Default 3.73 to 4.10

right now I have 3.73 gears in my rear end. I just ordered the trex, for my car. I have never driven a car with 4.10 gears. Is there a big difference between 3.73 and 4.10 gears. I will also be spraying (150 shot ) when I get the money.

you will notice it, it wont be like "oh wow" but it IS noticable. When I first got in my car after going from 3.42 to 4.10 I couldnt believe how much quicker I had to shift, now I just go 1-3-5 unless Im beating on it. IMO 4.10 are the way to go with a 6-speed.

If you are an M6 4.10s should be the only gear you buy IMO.

If you are running the Trex I would get a 4400 stall before you get the 4.10s. The 3.73s should be fine with a 4400 stall and the Trex for a while. I would just save the money from the gears and upgrade to 4.10s when you need a 12 bolt (which will be VERY soon I imagine). You will be a monster out of the hole if you can get traction. Expect your mpg to fall dramatically by upgrading to a trex, 4400 and 4.10s though!
