Default 02 WS6 6 speed what would it be like with 4.10s?

I wanna put 4.10s in the rear and I plan on doing more later on so would I wanna upgrade to a bigger rear end? 9 inch or 12 bolt? what is your experiences with the different rear ends and what kind of improvements can I see with the 4.10s?

The Moser 9 inch is about the same price as the Moser 12 bolt. The nine inch is even sturdier, and has a better style of a torque arm mount. For 6 speed cars I recommend the Moser 9 inch. 4.10 gears will give you a noticeable increase in acceleration, and driving around town is made easier. Bob

I have a 12bolt and love it. Saying that if I had to do over again, I would probably do a 9" just for the extra durability. I have beat the **** out of mine and never had a problem though.

What he said and...If you add a cam or aftermarket clutch later, the 4.10s will benefit those mods too. Get the TruTrac differential--works great with no clutches to wear out.

Yes, same functional principles, but much stronger, with slightly more (?) bias than the stock T2 Torsen.
