Default Hardline brake fittings from rear housing to body?

Having trouble removing these. I am trying to pull the rear end, and these fittings are giving me a hassle. Anyone have a way to pull these off. The place where the merge into the same bracket as the fuel lines. The fittings just keep stripping. I can't find the right wrench to do this. The 14mm seems to strip it, and the vise grips just make it worse. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure I'm reading you right, but do you need a flare wrench?

Okay, it sounds like you need a 13mm flare wrench.

Hey Ben, you don't have to pull the brake lines completely off.

Disconnect them from the front of the housing (there is a bracket there). Bend the clips back to free the hard line. And then when you get to the caliper, remove it, tie it to the body. There is a clip on the rear that holds the brake line to it, pry up on it and it will free the line. Saves time and no bleeding.

I wasn't sure what he was trying to do. New rear end, new brakes?? I still don't know.

keliente has pulled another David Blaine act of legerdemain.
