Default Auburn or Eaton?

I have a 2000 SS camaro M6. Iam putting GM 4:10 gears in and would like advice on which center section to use. I use this car on weekends and would take it to the track once and a while. I also run Nitto 315 drag radials.
Thanks, Brian "Mr Yenko"

My opinion would be a detroit locker. Limited slips can wear the clutches out and if you forget to put in the additive they really won't last long. With a locker all you have are to side gears with teeth and die springs.

You can't go wrong with either the Auburn (Pro Series) or the Eaton (with 800lb preload springs)...I've had both and they work well. The Eaton is rebuildable, and the Auburn has an exchange program...I had a Pro Auburn in my old 10 bolt for 7 years of 11 second runs with no probs..Its now in someone else's car still laying two solid patches...
