Default Bearing Size choice with Strange Nodular 9 inch case?

I am thinking of getting a Strange Nodular 9 Inch Case and was debating on getting the one with 3.06 or 3.25 bearing sizes. Would there be a reason someone would choose one over the other? Also I just have to make sure I get the correct bearings and correct size Detroit Locker after I choose which Case to go with. Right? Or is there anything else? Thanks for any help.

A reason for one over the other.... ??

Sure. Bearing speed and load capability.

If you are not going to be doing 200+mph the 3.25" bearing will work just fine. And you are correct.... pick the bearing diameter you like, get the associated carrier bearings. The Locker's bearing journel is only going to change size if you increase/decrease axleshaft diameter and/or spline count.

Anything else ??

Yea. Dont skimp out on a cheap pinion support. Strange or Mark Williams.... case and/or pinion support.

A 3.062 "H" case would be more than plenty enough for what your doing when I was in charge of the drivetrain at my last race team we ran nothing but "H" cases
