Default found the problem *pics*

Well i took the rear cover off and this is what i saw.

Im going to order new 3.42 (same as in pic) motive gears from speed inc.

question: How do i remove the pinion??? I AMMUME im going to remove the driveshaft???
Im going to get the new gears and bring the auburn to Dart trans (he does our race trans) and have him put the new gears on. I don't have the tools to do the bearings and what not.

Thanks for the help! and sorry for the newb questions.

You know that for him to set up the gears he will need the whole car, right? Just putting the ring gear onto the differential is the least of your worries...

The reinstallation of the pinion, finding correct pinion depth and backlash are incredibly crucial to the life & well-being of the gear setup...

If you want to see how the rear is set up, here is a website for it. I don't recommend attempting it if you have never done it and don't have an experienced pal to help you.
