Question Gm 7.5 Or Gm 8.5 10bolt ???

2000 T/A A4 WHAT REAR DO I HAVE GM 7.5 OR GM 8.5 10 BOLT ????
I KNOW I HAVE 2.73`S BUT WANT TO UPGRADE TO 3.73`S
NEED SOME HELP HERE .

you have a 7.5" 10 bolt.

also, i believe you have a 2 series carrier, however, wait for someone else to confirm as i cannot.

You got it right, 2.73's are a 2 series carrier.

I belive Richmond makes 3.73s for 2 series carriers. Give them a call. If not, then you`ll need a series three carrier (differential) to have 3.73s.
