Default 12-bolt prices

Awhile back, I thought I read of one of the sponsors (or perhaps not) selling Mosers for $2k, complete with ABS/TCS and the 1350 yoke. Am I crazy?

Just looking for the best priced place...

Call Barry at Quicktime performance @ 201-488-4049

He got me an awesome deal on a moser, little more than 2k but with everything including the chrome cover, 33 splines and eaton posi.

I'd give Mark at Ragingmotorsports.com a shout. He's a great guy to deal with and he's very fair. I have purchased quite a bit from him and just ordered a Moser 12-bolt as well. He's a local KC guy as well, so anything to keep a LS1 speed shop going in my area!!!!!

What are the issues with the Mosers? I did a search on them, expecting to find a bunch of broken ones, but can't find any.. Some of the prices on these things are just crazy..

The cheapest price I have found so far was $1800, at my local NAPA, this is a 33 spline, Moser housing, Eaton posi, traction control, ABS, and a TA cover. The catch is, I would have to assemble it myself..

I bought my Strange 12 bolt from www.fbodycentral.com/ For a little over $2300 it came complete, all I had to do was move the brakes over and add a 1/2" spacer to the swaybar mounts.

Only difference I have seen between the 2 setups is the swaybar mounting (bigger tubes) and some of the Moser are a little "off". Meaning the cars don't sit right... seems like the brakets are not dead on.

Rumor has it that Strange got ahold of the factory "blueprints" for the 10 bolt when developing thier 12 bolt. The fit for me was dead on.

I got my Moser from Thunder Racing, 4 channel ABS, 33 spline, Eaton Posi, came setup ready to put in for $2300. Didn't have any problems at all and it sat perfectly under the car. I have since switched it to our 98 Trans Am and it fit fine.

having a "blueprint" doesn't mean a thing. They ALL use a jig to weld the brackets on since they aren't a cast piece.....
