Default Gear ratio vs. Tire size?

Okay I need some answers if anybody can help me out. I have a 2000ss full weight. I recently had a 12 bolt w/4.30 ratio running 28 slicks. It ran good with 28's. I put in a S60 with 4.10's and it was bogging without the nitrous off the line ( even launching @ 6000rpm's ). I had tried 26 inch slicks before w/ the 12 bolt,4.30 set up and it would spin bad off the line. When I ran the other night at the track w/ nitrous I launched it at 5000rpm's and my car basically cut the 28's all to hell and back. Does anybody on here think my car will hook at these rpm's with the 4.10's and 26 inch slicks. I was pulling 1.50 60ft times with the 28's on the juice. I'm running about 560rwhp and 530rwtq.I have a full adjustable BMR suspension w/ QA1's out back. Also if your running 26's w/4.10 gears please post up some 60ft. times that you have please. One more thing I need to add, My car is a M6!

well, have you tried softening the rear suspension a lil bit? i'm still a noob kinda when it comes to that, but of course ud be spinning hard outta the hole with 4.30s..if you soften up the rear suspension a bit, it should allow the car to squat a lil more to put more weight on the tires..right? no flames plz lol

You don't want the rear suspension to squat. I am going to run a 27X10.5/16 on stock camaro wheels. Car has a 9" with 4.30's and an F13 cam. Its not back together yet though.
