Default rear end gasket

Guys I might have done something stupid. When I was changing the fluid I used steel wool to clean off the old gasket on the housing. I used a rag to cover the gears but some of the steel woot still got into the housing. I think that I got most of it out(probably almost impossible to get it all out since the strands are so small). There was not much in it to begin with but I know it does not take much to trash bearings. I put it back together thinking that the magnet will catch what what I missed but now I'm second guessing myself after I drove about 10 miles What do all of you think???

thanks

Steel wool wont affect the ring and pinion or the bearings. I have seen huge chunks float around the carrier with no ill effect, assuming they never cam in contact with the ring and pinion. Don't sweat it your fine.
