Factory limited slip a gear type?

Default Factory limited slip a gear type?

Is the factory limited slip in a 99 WS6 a gear type posi or clutches?. We did a fluid change and noticed the posi was gear type??..Stock? What kind?

Ok, but is that a gear type?..Just trying to decide if he has something other than factory. Do either of the factory rears have a posi unit that has cross gears in it?..Im not talking spiders, I mean there are small shaft type gears that look almost like drill bits that go across the rearend, much like the Detroit True Trac style.

It's most likely a torsen differential, yes it has plenty of worm gears inside of it with no clutches.
