Default Gear Question??

well i just recently bought a seperate 10 bolt with 3.23s in it and the reason i bought it was to put 3.42s or 3.73s in it and if i blow it up i have a backup just incase, my question is are 3.42s just as good as 3.73s or should I just go with the 3.73s?? and what kind of install kit should i get, do i need the ratech regular kit or the deluxe kit???

If your gonna do the swap anyway, just go with the 3.73's. As for gains, you'll prolly drop .3-.4 in the quarter and pick up 3-4 mph.

Anything is better than a 2.73, but yeah, go with the 3.73s.

I change my 3.42 for a 3.73 but mine is M6...I don't like it!! I feel like I'm only spinning and it feels like I've lost high speed power...

I found the Ratech kit in basic and complete versions. You will want the complete kit, since it replaces the bearings as well. I found one on ebay, but I am sure our sponsors carry them too.
