s-10 rear swap
I have a few questions, I have an '02 camaro with 2.73's I took a late-model bravada rear end apart with 3.73s. I think the carriers are different, but not sure. If they aren't would i be able to put the whole limited slip with the gears into my rearend? Is the spline the same between them? I have heard the limited slip in those are different and can suck. Please help! Thanks!

I was afraid of that. I saw the limited slip and it is that type. It sounded like it might be tough on the diff. I might stay away from it and bite the bullet and spend the money on a new set of gears. Is there a way to make series 3 carrier gears fit onto a series 2?? I didnt think so, but its worth a shot. Thanks for the input! If you have the pics handy, i would like to see them, or else no big deal.

'01 ws6- when saying the gears are the same, do you mean the gears out of the s-10 will fit my series 2 carrier?? i'm a little confused. if they will fit, i will just rob the gears out of the rear end, but i thought they wouldnt fit on a series 2.
