Default whinning noise

Just like it sounds. It's a whinning noise coming from the rear of the car. It does not change pitch much just constant whinning. I have installed adj. panhard rod and Lca's (single rod/poly ends). Any input would be appreciated. I have changed the fluid as well.

Did the sound start after you installed the phb and the lcas, or where those two items your attempt at curing the whining sound?

It always had a little whin but only at the 60-65 mph range. Now it whins from about 35-80mph range. I also installed a set of 3pnt SFC's as well. All of the components were installed with the suspension loaded. I also checked to ensure that the rear was centered by measuring the distance between the center of the rear wheels and the outer edge of the quarters.

They are factory gears. Not sure the size though. Haven't looked at the Rpo code yet.

If its factory gears I am willing to wager your rear's days are #, Aftermarket suspenion may factor in since its stiffer.

I have a similar sound from my rear end. It sounds like I have snow tires on the rear. I think it's the bearings, but will eventually rebuild the rear and change the 2.73's to 3.73's and a new bearing kit. That should fix things all way around.

Do you have any aftermarket LCA's, PHB or SFC's installed?
