Default gear kit?

im looking to get some 3.73's installed in my A4, besides the gears, is there anything else i need to get for the install? i heard something about a gear installation kit but im not sure if i need it. i plan to have a shop install the gears.

well this isnt really needed but if you are in there it is good insurance to go ahead and change all your bearings and all.Thunder racing sells a complete rebuild kit (seals, bearings,etc)for something like 100 dollars.Its a really nice kit.

Your car is fairly new so doubt your old bearings are bad. Hears everything I would buy.

GM brand pinion seal
2 bottles Lucas 85-140 gear oil
Ratech kit (supplied pinion seal did not fit my 2002): http://store.summitracing.com/partde...5&autoview=sku
