"best" gear brand?
Okee doke, everyone. Car's going under the knife in the next couple of weeks, and I think I'll be doing a gear-swap from 3.42 (M6) to either 3.73s or 4.10s. Probably been asked a bajillion times, but is there a "best" gear out there? Noise levels? I'm having a pro do all the work so im not worried about the noise too much, but is one brand going to be better overall/quieter/more durable than other gears. The car (98 TA M6) is my DD, so I'm looking for the best streetability.
Be nice, noob here. If there is a link to a good thread, could someone post?

I agree on the Richmonds. Good gears, but always more noise than other brands, even when set up perfectly. This from first-hand experience building 10-bolts, 12-bolts and Ford 9 inch center sections. AAM is a favorite of mine, tough and dead quiet when set up right.
