Default i broke an axle

i broke my left axle on my 99 ta at the track. i definately thought it was the gearing but it is all in tact and looks fine. it spins freely as well. the only problem i'm having is getting the other peice of the axle out. as i tried to pull my rotors off, my axle came out with it and here are some pics:

where can i get/who makes the oe axle? would it be around the same price to get one used at a junk yard?

+1, after the chunk goes just replace it with auburn, unless you got the clams for a 12 bolt or 9 inch.

That is bad ***, I cant say that I have ever seen that happen. When I broke my rearend I only broke the pinion teath off.

I would never use a junk yard axle, unless I was stranded somewhear. Check out summit, they usually have good prices. Try to use a big magnet to fish out the other piece of axle.
