Car pulls to one side or other under accel. (new locker)
Is this normal? WHen either get on it, or shift and step on it some the car sometimes pulls pretty drastically to one side or other..
Any ideas why, got a few miles on it, prly 50-100.

We've had lockers do this, which is why I don't recommend them. If you do a search on here, you will find a lot of info on them.
We swapped one out for a guy and put a spool in it's place. The car is mostly street driven, and he really likes it now. Bob

yup sounds like the infamous locker sway. GOOD aftermarket shocks get rid of most of it and now that i have my sphon rear drag sway bar its virtully gone and stays dead straight. thought i was gonna go off the road the first time it did it

haha yea, i dont mind at 40mph but going 100+ down the strip I would start to worry of the car starting to sway. Doesnt seem to be too much problem under full throttle. Yea i might look in ot the rear draw bar inthe future. I have spent enough this year.
badpewter, what rims and slicks you have on back? I am looking at buying soon.

Double check out your rear tire rollout with a loose tape measure. The tires should be no different than 1/4 of a inch difference max with a locker. I run a spool in my racecar and when I have my new rear tires mounted they are matched so it will not torque steer.
