Default Junkyard Dana 60: *need advice quick!*

I have a line on a good deal... a HD FF Dana 60 with 4.10s for $100. I was wondering what I would have to do to make it useable in an F-body, maintaining ABS and all... I have access to whatever tools etc. and know-howI may need so I could actually save major labor costs. Is it worth it? I will update with more info (what it's out of, width, etc...)
Thanks guys!

Not worth it.

If it were easy and cheap then do you think companies would be able to get away with charging $2,000+ for rears?

Also a full floater is going to be heavier and will not be able to use stock wheels. You would have to get proper housing ends, etc.

Dont bother.

So too much has to be changed/modified to make it worth it?

Torque arm mount, which has to be perfect since it helps determine pinion angle.
Custom axles, narrower and correct bolt pattern.
Narrow the housing.
Housing ends that will fit it for your brakes, or custom brake brackets or new brakes.
Suspension mounts for coils and LCA's.
ABS/TC
Yoke to fit your DS.
New ring and pinion and complete rebuild kit with axle bearings (since we are talking about a used rear).
Clean and blast housing so it will look presentable after sitting under a 1 ton truck for how long, and then in a junk yard.

Add it up and figure in your time, you arent saving much unless you can do it ALL yourself and can get a deal on parts. The torque arm is the biggest problem, which is the point that was being made.
