4.10 Gears and Ram Street Dual Clutch Initial Impressions
Ram Street Dual Clutch:
Pros:
-Very smooth engagement
-Light clutch pedal
-Holds 900 ft-lbs of torque
-Very easy to drive
Cons:
-Floater plate makes a rattle whenever the clutch pedal is depressed. The rattle is not loud but is annoying.
-Cost $1295
I love the engagement of this clutch but I hate the rattle, I guess you can't have it all.
4.10 Gears:
Pros:
-Very responsive throttle anywhere in powerband
-Very strong pull in low gears
-6th gear is now useable
-Can use 5th gear earlier
Cons:
-No traction on street tires
I am very happy with the 4.10s they made my car come to life. My car felt like a dog with the 3.42s now it feels like a rocket. I just need to get some drag radials. I would like to thank Jason, and Dan @ Katech for doing a great job thanks.
