Default 4.10's Tomorrow!!!!

I'm getting my 4.10's put in my 10 bolt tomorrow...what is the typical gain from 4.10's from 3.42's on an M6 T/A?

No traction, but feels like you got 1000 HP. youll be happy, as far as 1/4 times, if you can keep the same 60' times as before i have seen 3 tenth in the 1/4

I'm sure you already know that you will not actually gain any HP numbers, but your E/T should drop. Some people claim close to .5 off with just sticky tires and 4.10s.

As Kevin already touched on, it is most definitely a seat of the pants upgrade

Yeah prepared to get your neck snapped off, it's definetely money well spent. I've had 4.10's for a while and won't ever look back.

yeah you will feel the gains more than see them. You will actually loose some horseys on a dyno, not much maybe 5rwhp. But they are way worth it, these cars should of come this way

I had alot of seat time at the track with my car while bolt-on only. With the 3.42s, it went 12.50s, and with the 4.10s, it went 12.30s. It usually trapped 112s with the 3.42s, and 113s with the 4.10s.

With my heads/cam/4.10s, I got 24.86 on a trip a month or so ago. That was in mid 80 temps, with the a/c on all the time, and plenty of hills.

There's no way you get 24mpgs with heads and cam. My 01 ta got 22mpg (at best) when it was bone stock.

My gas milage didn't drop even a whole mpg going from 3:42s to 4:10s. Headers and cam killed it more.
