Default 9" ? 10 bolt problem 1.483 60' time

Well I have a moser 9" housing and I was going to put a 31 spline axles in it since I have a third member set up with 4.10's and a posi. But at this time since I'm buying axles I want to know what is the largest spline axle I can use with the GM axle flanges and LT1 brakes? 33 or 35?
Thanks

I found out last night that a 10 bolt is only good for one 1.483 60' time.

Does your housing have the GM flange, bearings, and brakes?

I plan on getting 33 or 35 spline axles and a spool. I don't want to get 31 spline axles with a facctory carrier(posi) and still worry about breaking it.

Thanks

yes I have factory brakes on mine, no matter what the bearings get raplaced, the 9 inch uses the backing plates to hold the axles in place so its a diffrent set up, if you have a moser 9 inch it should have came with them.

I picked up a Moser housing without axles. The only thing it came with was the torque arm mount. But I only payed $400.

400 for the housing only isnt a good deal, I only paid 800 for mine with the axles and bearings, your going to pay 400 for a good set of axles shipped to you, 50-75 for bearings. + now the fact that your going to have to track a set of T bolts down to hold the backing plates to the rear that come in the kit. you also need the rings that hold the bearings in place on the axles that come in the kit. so really a housing only is probably only worth 200 bucks new. moser lists a rear kit with axles for 985 I think it is but if you know some people you can find them for 800 like i did.

Give Bob at EPP a call he will hook you up. Moser ships stuff super quick as well. Took me less then a week to get my rear end. Then again I am only a day or two away from them but still they ship super fast.
