I'm pretty sure the Auburn posi is not servicable. You'll need another unit. You can find more info on Auburn's website.

He's right; they melt them down as the cone isn't serviceable. If it is 4 years or newer it qualifies for the drex replacement program. Here's a link to tell you more: http://www.auburngear.com/aftermarket/drex/

Default auburn posi rebuild

Well that is trouble some. we can do some machine work to get back some life but how long it will work will depend on your driving. we can get you some eaton type posis for pretty good prices if that helps. 26 or 28 spline 3 series units. JIm

I thought I read somewhere that you could send the Auburns back to Auburn to get them serviced...The Pro series is a great unit...Mine was still going strong in my old 10 bolt after 7 years of abuse...

if that is true i dont have the down time anyways, its my dd, and mine is in a 9in.
