Default Venting

I was just checking to see if anyone could help me out with a question about my Mosier 9 inch.I looked underneath today and it seems to be puking fluid out the vent.I took it out and did a couple hard launches but didn't think this should do this.Rear works great with no noticable whine or cluncks. What gives?Traver

Make sure the rear's not overfilled and you put the hose on the brass barb fitting (ran to a high spot). Of course Moser doesn't include the hose with the rear. I'm still putting mine in and I'm not very impressed with the product to say the least.

The vent... in your case, is most likely a brass barb fitting on the axle tube. As blown-Z stated, there should be a hose from the barb to the floor pan or frame rail.

I normally drill and tap the axle tube for a -6AN fitting and run it to the floor pan with a loop in the line and a filter to keep any garbage out.

If its puking out of the vent... it may be over-full, as previosly mentioned.

I have a vent in one of my axle tubes. All I did was screw in a universal vent from Summit that sits right on top of the tube.Do you think I need to run a hose somewhere?Traver

Yes, we run a line up and tie if off on the driver side gas tank strap. Bob
