I was thinking 3.73's if you were running a 12-bolt, so yes to the 3.70's with a 9". These guys above me know what they're talking about!

Id say go with 389, i mean your 6 speed and using 28's so you'll need all you can get to get out the hole and being as your 6 speed your naturally gonna run high mph up top

Gear the car for the rpm you want to turn at the finish line. Be careful, you will need at least 4.10s to get the car out without slipping the clutch. Especially with those tall tires. I would try 4.30s. High gears like 3.70s cause much abuse to the clutch off the line. If you want the car to leave really well, devide 13.5 by your 1rst gear ratio and that will get you in the ball park. Remember, if you bog the car, you will break parts.

I would go with 3.70 gears. That is what Im going to be using in my car which makes about the same power. Only differance is my car redlines at 6800rpm.

At your power level and limited to 6200rpm you're most likely going to have to shift into 5th gear with anything over 3.70's.

I'm guessing if all goes well you'll trap near 130mph?

2QUIK, what size tires are you going to run, 28's or 315's in your sig?

I run the 315's in my sig currently but I will be switching to a 28" tire for next year.

Thanx for all the input!!!
The reason i said 6200 RPM limit, is my car is a NO2 car and it starts losing power around 6200 but my limiter is set to 7200 so i can rev higher if needed.

If you can rev it on out to 7kish then without a doubt go with 4.30s with your 6 speed and those 28 inch tires. With 3.70s it would be a TURD!

BTW, you do have at least some better valve springs right? Spinning to 7k plus on the stock valve train is asking for trouble! (valve float)

I don't look at the tach, and honestly, it doesnt keep up anyhow. My shift light is set to 6700 and it's not on when I cross the line. I trap 122 on motor. The gear calculator says I should be around 6500-6600. I'm going with 4.30s in my new rear that I hope to have for this upcoming season.
