Default ? on Lockers and gear lube types

Has anyone tried different gear lubes in their detroit lockers to see if it has an affect on their noise? Wondering if any of the synthetics have been tried with better results than regular lubes.

Its not a dino or synthetic thing... its a weight/viscosity thing.

Try a straight weight 140wt.

I was told not to run synthetic in my locker, also the heaver weight you put in it the less noise you will get.
