I have installed a mini spool a long, long time ago. You will have to completely dissassemble it all and re set it back up. I am no expert but, you will probly have to buy at least a rebuild kit (new seals, pinion bearing, crush sleeve etc..) or possibly a master kit depending on how many miles you have on your current set up. I'm sure some one else will chime in as well. good luck.

Full spool pretty easy to install. you will need a dial indicator to check the backlash. Shoo me your email address and I can forward you on an Installation Instruction Sheet with the specs. jwlson@jawsgear.com
