Default Pinion seal leaking down the tq arm.

So how long do I have before she goes out? I just changed the fluid today, although it wasn't very low.

Very very faint whining if any? I'm trying to hold out till summer for a 12bolt but will it last?

Probably. They can seep like that for years. My old 10 bolt was always wet around that area but never dripped. Ran it like that for a year.

A drip here and there wont cause it to fail for a long time.

All 3 4th gen's I have had leaked just like that for years and years.. I never fixed them. My buddy was super **** with his car and changed his pinion seal every 6-8 months to keep it from leaking so I'd just leave it alone and check the fluid level whenever you change the oil. I doubt it will ever completely go bad though.

Good stuff, wasn't sure if that being leaky was a sign that it wasn't shimmed right anymore.
