Default what pulls harder????

3.73's or 3.23's in an a4 i know 3.73's are quicker 0-60ish but from 60 and up if it was the same car just one had 3.23's and one had 3.23's what would be faster cause i have 3.73's but 90% of my racing is from a roll

3.73s' would be putting 15 % more torque to the carrier over 3.23s'.
More torque equals more pulling harder.

Lower gear ratio(higher number) equals more pulling power.

Only if you run out of gears or rpms. Otherwise they always help because it's a gear ratio--which translates to more torque multiplication all of the time.

especially if it in a 6speed then you can have 3.73's and still have a hell of a topend.

In the quarter mile, the difference would only be in MPH and it would only be 1-2 MPH anyway.

From a highway roll, the 3.73's would pull a little harder but not a lot. In a car with a stock converter the difference would be quite a bit more.
