Default new rear, what drive shaft length?

Well just like the title says. I am going to a 12 bolt. Do I need to shorten or lengthen my drive shaft. I am trying to get all the parts I need so I can make this a one day job and not have to wait around for parts. Thanks in advance for everyones help.

We have found the stock driveshaft to be about 3/4" too long then reccomended length. It will bolt in but puts force on the pinion bearings andtail shaft as it bottoms out on the slip yoke especially if you have lowered your car at all. Let me know if you need a driveshaft.

Measure it and get a custom driveshaft.
