No ABS after your rear? What about jumpering the wires?

Default No ABS after your rear? What about jumpering the wires?

I just had a thought here and am wondering if anyone has done it yet? I don't see why we couldn't jumper the pins to make it think everything is A-OK back there. Has anyone done this? Does someone have a wiring diagram to look at? I'm just sick of my lights and don't really want to break them.

I don't, but a painted smiley sticker works very well over the light. Bob

its not as easy as a jumper... the abs sensors produce an a/c voltage that varies with speed. the computer needs to see a certain voltage at certain speeds, or it will set off the light and send the ebcm to default.

sell that rearend and get one of mine that is setup for the abs... then the light will go out.

Hmm, well the lights don't bug me that bad to take a hit on my rear. I don't like the idea of busting the lights, but i'll do it if needs be. Sounds plauseable though eh?

Just take the plastic lens cover off the dash gauges, paint a little smiley sticker black and put it over the offending light, then put the plastic cover back on. It actually works much better than it sounds.

FYI Moser offers 9 inch rears with ABS now as well. Bob

Did you guys pull 4 fuses (2 big 2 small) when you got your non-abs rear?
